Tom Brady's post-draft conference call is a great listen

April 16, 2000 is a date that Tom Brady and New England Patriots fans all around hold near and dear to their heart.

That’s right, nineteen years ago, New England selected Michigan quarterback Tom Brady at No. 199 overall in the NFL Draft.

To celebrate the anniversary, Brady took to Instagram to post his notorious shirtless draft picture, while the team’s social media pages released audio from Brady’s post-draft conference call.


The Patriots took a chance on him, and it truly turned out to be something special. Six Super Bowl titles later, Brady is still playing with the same fire and passion he always had.
