Tedy Bruschi is doing "much better" after suffering a stroke

(CNN.com)

This past Thursday, former Patriots linebacker Tedy Bruschi was rushed to the hospital after suffering a stroke, his second in his life. While any form of serious medical problem is scary, this one was even more so, as Bruschi suffered a previous stroke in 2005.

His social media page released this statement the day after the stroke: "He recognized his warning signs immediately: arm weakness, face drooping and speech difficulties. Tedy is recovering well. Tedy and his family thank you for your ongoing encouragement, and kindly ask for privacy at this time."

This morning, Bruschi took to instagram to give everyone the details about his indecent and that he is recovering nicely and also gave the early warning signs of an oncoming stroke.

While this must've been a very frightening event, the Bruschi family was very fortunate to hop on the warning signs right away and get Tedy the help he needed.

Bruschi also created "Tedy's Team" which is a running club made to raise funds and awareness for the American Stroke Association. He has run the Boston Marathon three times, including in 2019.
