Gino Cappeletti Belongs in Canton
First and foremost, Gino Cappeletti is the AFL's all-time leading scorer. As a measure of respect to the old American Football League, players like Gino belong in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
Gino Cappelletti spent 45 of past 52 years as Pats' player, coach or radio analyst. All-time leading AFL scorer deserves place in HOF

Ron Borges' tweet also hits on another often overlooked Hall of Fame trait. Longevity. 45 of the last 52 years? That is incredible dedication and service. He was a great player, an average coach, and a great broadcaster. In fact, I would argue that there have only been two more successful Pro Football broadcast teams than Cappeletti and Santos.
The iconic pairing of Howard Cosell and Frank Gifford on Monday Night Football, and of course the modern gold standard of Madden and Summerall. Both of those teams had the advantage of being broadcast on national television, which certainly allowed them to reach a much broader audience.
