Deion Branch thanks Patriots fans




Branch was a very surprising cut today. Still, it makes sense in some ways.

You could really count Aaron Hernandez as the third wide receiver, as he plays a majority of the time from the receiver spot. It was very rare last year that the Patriots put three true wide receivers on the field.

Certainly though, the cuts of Stallworth, Branch and Gaffney have come as a surprise and Pats fans shouldn't rule out a return by either of the latter two sometime this year.
