Game Day Recipe Week 1: GRONK-AMOLE

Over the course of the regular season we'll be posting game day recipes every Saturday. Why? Because eating is as much a part of the football experience as watching!

These recipes will come mostly from contest winning chef, and my dad, Steve Saver.

Hey you got to feed the team and the coach right!

Ingredients – like Gronk something a little different.
■ 23 ripe, Fresh California Avocados, seeded and peeled
■ 23 tsp. fresh lemon juice
■ 5 3/4 tsp. fresh dill, chopped
■ 2 7/8 Tbsp. garlic salt
■ 17 1⁄4 Tbsp. medium-hot salsa
■ 5 3/4 cup nonfat plain Greek yogurt

Instructions
In a large bowl, coarsely mash avocados, leaving some chunks.
Add remaining ingredients and mix to blend.

Serving Suggestions: Serve with chips, pita bread.

Beverage Pairings: Beer what else?

Note: Large avocados are recommended for this recipe. A large avocado averages about 8 ounces. If using smaller or larger size avocados adjust the quantity accordingly.

Head nod to Mitch Manning on the name. Alternative version is to add bacon to this recipe.
