Injury Update: Hernandez has low ankle sprain

I know you might be sick of hearing about Aaron Hernandez's injury already, but hopefully you'd like to hear this little bit of kind of good news, maybe.

It's not a high ankle sprain and that's possibly good news. This still falls in line with reports that Hernandez will miss up to six weeks but it deflects the speculation on the specific nature of the injury.

For example, John Skelton had a low ankle sprain and there was still the possibility of him coming back the next week. High ankle sprains limit the ability for players to make cuts - one of Hernandez's most valuable skills. Of course there are multiple varieties of both high and low ankle sprains. There can be low ankle sprains that are worse than high ankle sprains, there can also be minor high ankle sprains.
