Harvard Study: Patriots have worst home field advantage

Here's the link to the study. Heard this on Toucher and Rich this morning.

First of all, the way these stats are put together doesn't make any sense. They take the differential between road and home wins. All this shows is that the Patriots are just as good on the road as they are at home. Look at the bottom of the list and you'll find other curious teams down there.

Second of all, Gillette Stadium is pretty well known as not being the loudest place in the league. Patriots fans tend to care more about beating the traffic than getting loud on third down. The fans need to be coached up by signs on the field about when to get loud and when to be quiet. Hey, don't like it Patriots season ticket holders? Do something about it.

Pats fans have been criticized by Richard Seymour and Tom Brady for not being the loudest during home games.

Even though this study is bogus, Patriots fans in the stadium need to step it up. Though, as long as we have Brady and Belichick and are winning between 12-14 games a year, I doubt that will happen.
