Patriots to wear Newtown, CT decal on helmets

I don't think I need to write much background about the horrible tragedy that occurred in Connecticut on Friday. Being the New England Patriots, the Pats will wear a decal on their helmets to honor the victims. In addition, the Giants are also wearing decals on their helmets to honor the Sandy Hook Elementary School.

The Kraft family also donated $25k to Sandy Hook.

The Patriots will honor the victims of the Newtown, Conn., elementary school tragedy tonight by wearing the town decal along with a black ribbon on their helmets during tonight's game against the San Francisco 49ers.

Also before the game, 26 white flares will be lit up at Gillette Stadium during the moment of silence to honor the victims.
