Joe Flacco dawns Sports Illustrated cover, Patriots fans pray for jinx

Everyone knows about the Sports Illustrated jinx. For those that don't know, here's a list.

Essentially, the premise is that whoever is on the cover of Sports Illustrated becomes jinxed. Some recent examples, the 49ers were on the cover before the NFC Championship game. They lost. The Patriots were on the cover twice before the Superbowl. They also lost. Rob Gronkowski was on the cover of the NFL Preview issue, anyone reading this site knows what's happened to him this year.

This week, Joe Flacco dons the cover in one variant. Colin Kaepernick is on the other. If you believe in this jinx, you're overjoyed. If you don't, you're praying it's real.

I'm not sure if I buy into it or not, but one thing's for sure, I'm happy Tom Brady isn't up there. When both Tom Brady and Robert Kraft appeared on back to back issues of SI before the Super Bowl, I thought that was overkill. Like, someone was intentionally trying to jinx the team or something.

Anyway, if the Patriots win and appear on the cover in the next two weeks. Expect a post on here because I absolutely believe in the jinx.
