NFL authorizes locker room cameras

NFL teams are now mandated to install cameras in the home locker room of their stadiums. The cameras must be installed but the team doesn't ever have to use them unless they would like to. The footage from the cameras is in-stadium, meaning we would never see the footage if we were watching the game on television. It will be used on things such as team-apps, and maybe on the big board during halftime.

Also, home teams must show all important replays even if the play doesn't benefit the home team. NFL Executive VP/Business Ventures Eric Grubman said this about the changes:
We're going to mandate replays, not just after a disputed call but after a whole series of important plays, fumbles, out of bounds. Now it doesn't matter if you want your technician to favor the home team. You're not going to have a choice. Why? Just listen to the fans.
Not only are the home stadiums required to show close calls, but all highlights like big hits the away team makes. Imagine JJ Watt nailing Tom Brady and having to watch it over and over in Gillette Stadium. What's your take on these changes? Let us know on twitter! @joeloobs @patriotslife
