One Steeler says Emmanuel Sanders is better than Mike Wallace

The Patriots will likely be able to officially sign Emmanuel Sanders **knock on wood** when the Steelers announce that they will not make a counter to the offer sheet the WR signed with New England. Pittsburgh has little cap space left, so it is presumed that the restricted free agent will soon make his way to Foxboro.

NFL insider Adam Schefter tweeted yesterday some interesting info regarding the young wide receiver. According to Schefter, Sanders could be regarded as more talented than we all previously thought.

Better than Mike Wallace and Antonio Brown?? That may be a stretch... but Schefter was told this from a member of the Steelers, so it is something to think about. Maybe this person saw something in Sanders that the Patriots hope to reveal. The 26-year-old will be entering his 4th season in the NFL. He has not put up the best numbers quite yet, but keep note that he was the third WR behind Wallace and Brown.

For the Patriots sake, let's hope this person wasn't exaggerating. Here's a little food for thought though, Patriots QB Tom Brady does tend to make his WR's look much better than they sometimes are. So, maybe (hopefully) Sanders can come in and play at the level that this member of the Steelers thinks he can.
