Aaron Hernandez being sued for shooting a guy in the face + police find gun by body in North Attleboro

This just keeps getting more and more strange.
Hernandez still isn't a suspect and police have released no details. They've been in and out of his house since last night after a man was found killed close to Hernandez's home. A rental car connected to Hernandez was also found.

Also, TMZ reports that Hernandez was recently sued by a man claiming that the star tight end literally shot him in the face, costing him an eye.

According to the lawsuit, obtained by TMZ, Hernandez and Alexander S. Bradley went to Tootsie's Cabaret in Miami on February 13, 2013 ... and during the outing, the two men got into an argument.

Bradley claims ... After the dispute, both men left the club -- and got into the same car which was heading to Palm Beach. During the ride, Aaron allegedly aimed his weapon at Bradley ... and the gun discharged, striking Bradley in the face.

Bradley claims he suffered major injuries from the gunshot ... including the loss of his right eye.

Greg Bedard of Sports Illustrated confirms the lawsuit.

That suit certainly doesn't help paint the Patriots tight end in a favorable light given the circumstances. Speaking of those circumstances, the police have had a development in the case as they've recovered a gun near the body. One would assume that it was the same weapon used to kill the victim.

CBS:
The man was identified by his family Wednesday as 27-year-old Odin Lloyd of Dorchester.

Wednesday afternoon, law enforcement sources told WBZ-TV, state troopers found a gun in North Attleboro in the area near where Lloyd’s body was found.

A neighbor of Odin’s told WBZ they had seen Hernandez in the neighborhood and that Odin dated the sister of Hernandez’s girlfriend.

Would really love the police to speak to the press sometime soon on this. Of course, they can't do that until they've gathered their evidence and continue their investigation. Patriots fans especially would like to know the fate of the player though.
