Gronk: 'I'm in great spirits'

Take a deep breath, step back if you have to... Finally, we have some positive Patriots news. All-Pro tightend Rob Gronkowski has apparently been relieved of his cast, which he has worn since the latest of multiple surgeries to repair his forearm. Keeping the positive news rolling, Jeff Howe of the Boston Herald reported that Gronk seemed to be walking around perfectly fine after his back surgery. Between dodging several questions about former teammate Aaron Hernandez and other negative issues that the NFL has been facing, Gronk had this to say:
"I can tell you this," Gronkowski said. "I'm in great spirits. I'm enjoying life a lot more. I can tell you that right there."
Furthermore, Howe stated that the All-Pro, who was promoting his family's new book Growing Up Gronk, did not seem to be wearing a protective brace for his back. Though Gronk was not running around catching passes, participating in drills or anything like that, we have to accept that progress is progress. Any Patriots fan should be happy to see him progressing steadily and effectively.
