The second-round pick was held out of action after being cleated in the ankle during Monday night's practice and is expected to return on Thursday, according to a source. The Patriots have a scheduled day off Wednesday.

Dobson has bee very impressive on all accounts as the big rookie receiver tries to build a rapport with Tom Brady.

Another rookie, or atleast to the NFL, Armond Armstead got some bad news last night. Armstead entered camp on the PUP list and we just found out why.

Armstead was a signing from the CFL whom the Patriots locked up soon after their season ended in the AFC Championship game. It is very unclear when he will be back and strange to hear the Patriots announcing a surgery officially.

There are high hopes for Armstead and this is an injury to watch. The Patriots are thin on the defensive line and could use all of the difference makers they can get.
