Top 5 players on offense entering the preseason.

There's always a grey area in the way we rank the best teams and players. Right after the playoffs start, and right after the preseason ends. You can have a solid team, an undefeated one, shatter records, win MVP and still not win the Super Bowl. And even though the playoffs is suppose to decide the best team in the NFL by crowning an eventual champion. It's never always the best team that wins and while we like to judge players on their postseason accomplishments, how much does a Super Bowl title run influence players and teams rankings? Colin Kaepernick didn't even start when the season started, yet he was a big part of the 49ers offense come later in the season and playoffs. Where would you rank him as the best QB's in the NFL? Preseason doesn't aid much either because--providing your on the cusp of being cut or at risk for losing your starting job--not many players play that much.

Here now is the top 5 players at every position on offense*. These rankings are judged on the start of the preseason and are ranked in order of pure skill and talent.
