Gronk, Amendola and Talib at practice today

According to ESPN.com, both Aqib Talib and Danny Amendola were present at the beginning of the Patriots' full-pads practice early Wednesday morning. Talib's health was not a concern until it was noticed that he did not participate in practice yesterday. With no official word from the team on his health status, we can only assume that he is apparently OK with his return today.

Amendola on the other hand, is a totally different story. Originally dubbed to be out a few weeks with a sports hernia, we then heard that he has torn adductors in his hip and needs surgery that would sideline him for well over a month. Though we do know that he is definitely injured, we cannot seem to find out the severity of it. At practice today Amendola scarcely participated, but the fact that he was on the field at all should be a good sign for Patriots fans.

As a quick note, special teams captain Mathew Slater and DB Marquice Cole were not present at all while Rob Gronkowski looked as though he was ready to fully participate. Gronk's status for this week's game has been dubbed as '50-50', though it would likely be wise to allow the tightend all the time he needs to return.
