It was a Good Weekend for the Jones Family

How was your weekend? Not as good as it was for the Jones family.

The fun started Saturday night, as middle brother Jon "Bones" Jones took to the Octagon to defend his UFC light heavyweight championship from challenger Alexander Gustaffson. Both fighters went to the hospital for treatment afterwards, but it was Jones who claimed the title with a unanimous decision. Jones has now defended his title six times.

The good times continued on Sunday, as little brother Chandler Jones had two half-sacks for your New England Patriots in a 23-3 win over Tampa Bay. Through three weeks, Chandler's 3 sacks are right up there amongst league leaders, tied with superstars like Terrell Suggs and JJ Watt. The second year defensive end also was part of a defense that did a solid job minimizing the damage done by star halfback Doug Martin.

While Chandler was succeeding in New England, big brother Arthur got his second sack in as many games during a 30-9 Baltimore win over Houston. Arthur was part of a Baltimore defense that smothered Houston's talented offense en route to making a statement that the defending Super Bowl champions are still around and deserve some respect.

Not bad for a weekends work.
