Sebastian Vollmer injury update
Sebastian Vollmer did not play in the second half of the game against the Bucs due to a foot injury. Shortly after, the right-tackle was spotted leaving Gillette Stadium in a walking boot.
Karen Guregian of the Boston Herald reports that Vollmer is dealing with a foot sprain, and his status for Sunday's game against the Falcons.
Marcus Cannon stepped in for Vollmer when he went down against the Bucs. It is anticipated that he and Will Svitek, who has missed all action up to this point with a knee injury, will handle Vollmer's responsibilities if he is in fact unable to play this week.
