Edelman finished the night with a career high 13 catches for 78 yards and was targeted by a frustrated Tom Brady 18 times.
Obviously Welker was watching his old team struggle to run routes, make catches and generally do what wide receivers are expected to do.
Somewhere, trapped in his Dollar Store snow globe, Wes Welker must be smiling.
