Josh Cribbs rebirth with the J-E-T-S-!

Josh Cribbs was signed last week for the Jets because Rex Ryan says "that it is all on the line". He wants to win this game more than he wants unlimited Dunkin Donuts for life.

Cribbs was playing in the probowl 6 months ago and was unemployed for quite awhile. The former Browns and Raiders returner had the option of signing with the Patriots last season but choose the Cardinals instead but failed his physical and was not signed.

Cribbs rested up for awhile and started the preseason for the Oakland Raiders and was then cut due to a surgery he had on his left leg meniscus.

Cribbs said he is at not 110 percent but 111 percent. Cribbs said "This is a rebirth for me and I intend to show it."

Rex Ryan told his players recently, "Rest your legs and go home. Don't do anything for your wife. Say, 'Baby, next week. I'm going to do it next week. I'm going to take out the trash next week. I'll take the kids to practice next week. But I've got to rest for this game."

Cribbs is tied with New England Running Back Leon Washington for all time touchdown returns with 8 and three punts returned to the house.

With all of the Patriots injuries it will be interesting to see if that has an effect on the special teams units.

New England Special Teams better be on high alert because a healthy Cribbs could be more trouble than expected. There's nothing more dangerous than a man with nothing to lose.
