Ridley Leads Again But For How Long?

When Lagarette Blount and Brandon Bolden began to start games a legitimate question arose. Is Ridley still the lead back?

The question has been answered, Yes. Ridley's performance totalled up 20 carries for 96 yards with a 4.8 yards per carry average along with his first two touchdowns of the season versus the New Orleans Saints.

Ridley said "It's been a longtime since I've been in the zone and I was just happy to be there today"

Ridley has been put in the back of the backfield because of his reoccurring fumbling problems since Buffalo in week 1.

Ridleys fumbling problems have started since his rookie year vs. Denver in the playoffs and they haven't ended. The Patriots coaching staff especially Ivan Fears the running backs coach do not trust him...yet.

Ridley makes a difference Bolden and Blount can't. He's dynamic in his running. He can bulldoze defenders but also elude them and stay on his feet.

When Vereen comes back the Patriots will have one of the top 5 running back cores in the league.
With a banged up Patriots team the emergence of Ridley once again proves to be another weapon of the Patriots offense.

As long as Ridley keeps the ball off the ground, he will stay on the field. Ridley opened the door for himself now can he keep it open?
