Kenbrell Thompkins set for record rookie year

Most undrafted rookies won't even make a roster out of training camp, let alone play all that much if they do. Kenbrell Thompkins isn't one of those guys. Thompkins, the undrafted youngster out of Cincinnati, has turned heads all season and made the game winning touchdown grab on Sunday against the Saints.

He has caught 21 balls for 318 yards and 4 scores in only 6 games. The record for receptions in the Tom Brady era was set by Deion Branch at 43, the yardage mark, also set by Branch stands at 489, and the touchdown record is 10, set by Rob Gronkowski.

Thompkins is on pace for 56 receptions for 848 yards, smashing both of Branch's records, and set to catch 10 touchdowns which would tie Gronkowski's mark. Obviously this is all speculation and Thompkins production could drop, but his stats are certainly noteworthy. Lets hope he continues to produce and help the team win. @joeloobs @PatriotsLife
