Belichick: "Players practicing, not playing, is common"

In a day and a world full of media harassment and speculation, it is common for little things to get out of hands. We see this often with Bill Belichick and his soft choice of words on describing injuries of whatever

sort.

Patriots nation has been wondering when will Gronkowski be returning to the everyday lineup and while frustration has surely settled in, what has also settled in is seeing Rob on the practice field daily, but listed inactive on Sunday's. As quoted from NBC's "Pro Football Talk" by Mike Florio, Bill Belichick explains this case:

“There are a lot of players that practice that aren’t ready to play yet, but they’re ready to participate in practice.  That’s pretty common.”

Chicago fans can relate to this last season when Derrick Rose tore his ACL, he was full on in the pregame activities attempting dunks all the while sitting, suit and tie, on the bench. It is often players see the practice field before seeing the game field because they need to get into shape, we don't see the healthy everyday players go right to the field in late July. They step onto the practice field and work on getting into shape during training camps.

If anything, Gronkowski practicing should be great news because once he is cleared, he'll be full go.
