No good news comes out of Patriots practice

The team had a season high number of players missing due to injury.

Aqib Talib, Tommy Kelly, Leon Washington, Danny Amendola and Dan Connolly were all not spotted.

Talib, Amendola and Connolly all exited Sunday's game with injuries. It's been reported that Talib is dealing with a hip flexor injury, which puts his status for Sunday in serious doubt. Amendola was knocked out cold in the fourth quarter of the Saints game, the way he reacted after the hit strongly indicates a concussion, thought that has yet to be confirmed. Dan Connolly is also dealing with a head injury.

Tommy Kelly (knee) and Leon Washington (ankle) were both injured in the team's Week 5 loss to the Bengals and did not play last week against the Saints.

Jerod Mayo was injured against the Saints but has been placed on season ending injured reserve.
