Patriots vs Dolphins recap: A Tale of Two Halves

The Patriots game today against the Miami Dolphins was not necessarily what anybody expected coming out of the gate. After a controversial loss the the New York Jets last week, the general consensus was that the Pats could be coming out flying to start the game. With wide receiver Danny Amendola returning and tightend Rob Gronkowski's starting to get his swag back, it was hard to imagine that the Pats would not simply run away with this game.

However, the beginning of this game was quite the opposite. The defense struggled, Tom Brady could not get anything going, and all seemed to be lost when the Patriots trailed 17-3 in the second half. The Patriots quickly turned things around though, and managed to make multiple key plays that allowed for the comeback against their division rival. Scoring 24 unanswered points, the Patriots defeated the Dolphins 27-17 and now have a 6-2 record.
