Controversial penalty aids the Patriots in their comeback

Well if one week the refs are "against" you then you have to admit when the refs were "for" you. Last week's illegal pushing penalty cost New England the ball and eventually the win. While this week after a strip sack of Brady Miami defensive end Oliver Vernon swiped at the ball pushing it further into Patriots territory. What would have set up a punt for New England ended up being a first down to keep the series alive. While the discussion has already risen across social media it appears that like last week the refs got it right again. At least according to former head of officials Mike Pereira
If just like last week the penalty wasn't the final play it had a hand in deciding the outcome. The refs are there to make the calls and they got this one right.
