Mayo talks about his injury, working with the team, and his boob job

A couple weeks ago, Jerod Mayo sadly tore his pectoral muscle and had surgery on it, which ultimately ended his season. Last Friday, Mayo sat down with Tom Curran of CSNNE and talked about his injury and working with the team.

Here is the very first thing Mayo said about his injury:

“I got a boob job. You like it?”

Which led to Curran awkwardly groping Mayo’s chest. Ah silly boob jokes.

The interview did however contain some serious discussion, talking about the injury and what Mayo is doing now that he is out for the season.

"I'm taking this time and I'm breaking down film. I’m trying to give these guys tips that I see from film, and just try to pass along the things that I see and hopefully [they] go out there and execute.”

Mayo’s absence, being one of the best linebackers in the league, has left a large void at linebacker which the Patriots have been working to fill. Dont’a Hightower has stepped up and taken over many of Mayo’s responsibilities on the field. With Mayo still being involved with the team, the transition to life without him as been, and should continue to be fairly smooth. But with that all said, the dude is a beast, and he will be missed this season. And his boobs do look amazing.
