Patriots final hour roster moves shows they are worried about their cornerbacks' health

All three Patriots starting corners are listed as questionable for today's game.

Alfonzo Dennard is dealing with a knee injury he sustained in practice last week (we assume). It's already been reported that he'll miss the Broncos game and longer. Kyle Arrington has a groin injury he's been playing through, and Aqib Talib had his hip injury flare up at the end of the Panthers game, the same injury which kept him out of games at the end of last year's regular season and the one that kept him out of three games this year.

So, when your only healthy cornerback are Logan Ryan and Marquice Cole, you need some backup.

MassLive:
The New England Patriots have promoted Justin Green to the active roster and released Leon Washington.

Green was an undrafted rookie free-agent the Patriots signed in July. He ended up on the practice squad. Washington's release sent shockwaves through Patriot Nation when it happened in September, but at this point it's no surprise. He's barely seen the field, and even when he has been active the Patriots have opted to let Legarrette Blount be the return man over him.

The move shows that the team isn't confident in the health of at least one of those cornerbacks, likely Dennard. It'll be interesting to see the inactives later this evening.
