Browns QB Jason Campbell Cleared to Practice

Well, this is good news for Browns fans.
Campbell suffered a concussion in the Browns Week 12 loss to Pittsburgh and missed last week's loss to Jacksonville as a result.

For the season, Campbell has started four games, with an additional relief appearance. His starting stint started off red hot, with 5 touchdowns and no picks against two stingy defenses in Kansas City and Baltimore. Campbell had a passer rating over 100 in both outings, including a sparkling 116.6 rating in the Browns Week 9 upset over the Ravens.

However, he fell back to earth in the following two weeks, throwing 1 touchdown and 3 picks (along with two fumbles) in two Browns losses. For the season, he's completed 56.9% of his passes for 933 yards, 6 touchdowns and three interceptions, along with two fumbles (one lost).

Those numbers aren't great, but they are competent, which makes Campbell the heavy favorite to start Sunday's game against New England. Tanney time, we hardly knew you.
