Kenbrell Thompkins, Shane Vereen active but Alfonzo Dennard and Devin McCourty aren't

Kenbrell Thompkins has been out of the Patriots lineup since Week 12 when he injured his hip against the Houston Texans. Today, he will not be inactive as the undrafted rookie finally rejoins the team as they get ready to make a playoff run.

Notably out are starting cornerback Alfonzo Dennard and Devin McCourty. McCourty was expected to be inactive after suffering a concussion against the Ravens last week, but Dennard is a slight surprise. The Patriots corner has been dealing with a knee injury since Week 11 and has been in and out of the active roster.

Also significant is that Shane Vereen is active. Vereen sustained a groin injury that forced him to leave the game against the Ravens and not return.
