Tom Brady calls Logan Mankins toughest player he's ever played with

Yup. That about sums it up. Logan Mankins is easily the toughest SOB in the NFL.

Even Bill thinks so:

"First of all, I agree with Tom (Brady) in terms of Logan's toughness – I've coached a lot of tough guys, none that I would put ahead of him. Maybe on the same level, but none ahead. If Logan needed help off the field ... it was definitely a concerning moment. When (head trainer Jim) Whelan came and told me 'Logan's back,' I was a little bit surprised to hear that."

During LeGarrette Blount's first huge touchdown, Mankins' leg was landed on by a Bills player, seemingly tweaking his ankle. After seeing Blount celebrating his touchdown, the next image Patriots fans were given was Mankins being helped off the field by trainers. Everyone in Patriot Nation reacted the same way, cursing the football gods for taking another starting player.

But a weakass ankle sprain couldn't keep Mankins on the sideline. After a few plays, he was seen roaming the sidelines. After a few more, he was back in the game, helping spring Blount free for one of the best ground attacks in Patriots history.

Even in a year were star players are dropping like flies, no one dares mess with the MANkins.
