Win a Patriots jersey, Vote for the Road to MetLife Stadium Patriots MVP - Week 14

As the Patriots begin their quest to MetLife Stadium for the Super Bowl, we've decided to chronicle that journey by highlighting the heroes from each game.

The Patriots game against the Browns was a wild one, but we're used to that. As per usual, the Patriots struggled for most of the game, before finding their groove in the clutch. Finding a hero in this one will be a tough choice.

Luckily for us, that decisions falls to you.

All year long, we'll be running a contest to celebrate the Road to MetLife stadium, asking you guys to weigh in on who the MVP of each game is. As a reward, the jersey of the Patriots player to earn the most votes the entire year will be given away to a random person that weighed in on our weekly polls.

Here's how it works.

Each week, you will vote in the poll below for who you think deserves to win MVP for that week's game. Each vote earns you 1 entry into this raffle. That means if you vote every single week, you'll have a total of 16 entries. You can earn additional entries by liking us on facebook, following us on twitter, and tweeting about the contest. Please see below for easy access to doing all of that!

So, now the question remains. Who was the MVP of the game against the Browns?

Shane Vereen would be my choice, he ended the day with 12 catches for over 150 yards, and 50 of those were a key momentum shift in the game. With a Josh Gordon 80 yard TD putting the Pats down 19-3, the Patriots needed a play, and Shane Vereen delivered a couple. A 50 yard catch followed up by a rushing touchdown soon after gave the Patriots some new life.

They still needed a miracle to pull out the win, and that came down to Stephen Gostowski again. His 50 yard field goal was ultimately the difference in the game, but his onside kick that the Patriots recovered was maybe the key play of the entire game. Of course, let's not forget about Kyle Arrington who recovered that kick.

Tom Brady put in another great game as well. He overcame an abysmal first half to end the day with over 400 yards and the two key touchdown passes in the end.

Rob Ninkovich also wreaked havoc in the opposing backfield, with 2 tackles for a loss, while Dont'a Hightower atleast had a team high seven tackles.

It should be an exciting year as the league journeys towards MetLife Stadium in February. We're looking forward to some victories and more Patriots MVPs! Make sure to vote today!
