Blount wants to be back in New England next year

There may be more Blount force trauma next year if he gets his way with free agency.

Yes thats right, LeGarrette Blount doesn't want to go anywhere next year, except that is, back to Foxboro and Gillette Stadium. He was quoted this morning on CSNNE stating: "I'd like to be here but we'll see how it goes," he said Monday. "We've got to see how things turn out this offseason."

You may remember that Blount signed a low level, one year contract when he came here from Tampa Bay in April. Something so low risk was fine for us this year, but his time on the field grew to something of epic proportions. Heck just look at the game against the Colts. Without Blount, who knows what would have happened. CSNNE also asked him what he loves about New England, and he had a simple response.

"The hard, tough-nosed ability that this whole team has. A lot of guys are underdogs or undrafted guys, or not first-round guys, that are coming in here and stepping up and doing things people didn't expect them to do. We've come out and proved people wrong a bunch of times this year."

Quite honestly, they should sign Blount. He is a driving force in the Patriots offense and has made his presence known. Also, he holds multiple records for rushing and offensive numbers for the postseason. In my opinion, the Patriots would be dumb not to sign him for next year, if not longer.
