Cursed again? Bethel Johnson thinks so

Has a new curse descended on the whole of New England? First there was the curse of the Bambino and now there appears to be the curse of the Bethel. Former Patriots wide receiver Bethel Johnson seems to think he's had in his hand in the Patriots not winning a Super Bowl in 10 years.

Following the Pats 26-16 loss to the Broncos in the AFC Championship, Johnson tweeted:


The underperforming wideout was drafted back in 2003, won two rings then got himself traded to the Saints after the 2005 season. Johnson hasn’t played in the NFL since 2006 and the Pats haven't got another ring since.

Time to call in the exorcist?
