The latter of the two match-ups Sunday pinned two teams that do not like each other, the Seahawks and the 49ers. The Seattle faithful on their 12th man was in full volume and the game had all the makings of what could be a great game, and was it?

In the first quarter, the very first play, Seahawks QB Russel Wilson fumbled the football away giving the 49ers an early possession and early lead as it was turned into a field goal. Later, the 49ers would go on to score a touchdown to take an early and somewhat surprising 10-0 lead on the road. The Seahawks would eventually pull it to within a field goal that ultimately would send the game to a halftime score of 10-3, 49ers up.

In the second half, Marshawn Lynch finally got it going as he erupted for a 40 yard touchdown run, tying the game for Seattle. This was countered by a Colin Kaepernick touchdown pass to Boldin which gave the road team, San Francisco, the lead: 17-10. After that, Seattle came alive. The Seahawks would go on and score the next 13 points that included a big turnover by Kaepernick. This made it a 23-17 game and put the ball in the hands of one of the most controversial QB's in the league, Colin Kaepernick, and his offense to try and take the lead and/or win the game with just over two minutes left and all three timeouts. So how did the game turnout?

Kaepernick drove the ball down the field before throwing a late interception, sealing the game for Seattle.

The Denver Broncos will take on the Seattle Seahawks for Super Bowl 48!
