For Stephen Gostkowski, going to the Pro Bowl is bittersweet

Stephen Gostkowski is headed to the Pro Bowl for the second time in his career, but it is hard to celebrate says the kicker. He made 38 field goals on 41 attempts, good for a 92.7% conversion rate,  and made 5 from longer than 50 yards. A day after the Patriots loss in the AFC Championship, Gostkowski talked about going to the Pro Bowl.
"It’s bittersweet. To be able to be an alternate and have the chance to go to Hawaii and represent the team and the league, it’s cool, but it’s hard to celebrate it after a loss like that and when the season comes to an end. It’s real bittersweet. I’m glad I get to go to Hawaii with my family and have a good time, but I’d much rather be going and freezing my butt off in New York City."
