The one free agent the Patriots should go after

With the season over, Patriot players, coaches and fans can now look ahead to hopefully a much easier and enjoyable off-season. The first matter of the off-season comes on March 13th, 2014 when pending NFL free agents are officially on the market and free gain for any team with the pending money and desire.

So with this being said, who should be priority number 1 for the Patriots this off-season? Assuming the Patriots retain their key players that could hit the market (Edelman, Talib etc) the player I feel New England should target the most and who's price might just be a tad cheaper...

It would be Bears DB Charles Tillman, here's why. Tillman has been a great corner in the league for some time now. Though he only played half the season due to injuries, when Tillman was out there and healthy, he was considered a top 5 DB in the league and was even considered the best when Revis was out with a torn ACL. Aside from talent that Tillman would bring, he'd also give New England another tall, physical DB to play alongside Talib which would help the Patriots greatly against a team like Denver. Why paying him might be tough, for bargaining sake, Tillman did miss a ton of playing time last year, he's 33 and just tore his triceps and missed the remainder of the season. That being said, this could and should drive the price for a top corner down a couple million dollars and since his last contract in Chicago was 8 million. 5-6 million is where I see him making the most money based off his recent health and now aging.
