Nick Caserio just a trojan horse, turns down Dolphins GM job and takes info to Belichick
Oh, so now it all makes sense.
When the Patriots Director of Pro Personnel, Nick Caserio, was suddenly interviewing for Miami's open GM job, many around the league were confused.
Caserio had turned down many offers to interview for GM jobs in the past, so why was he now suddenly interested in a dysfunctional Miami job? Well, turns out he wasn't.
Caserio ended up being offered the job by Miami, but turned it down. Alex Marvez of FoxSports reports that he's taking the information he learned on the Patriots AFC East rival right to Bill Belichick.
Spoke to source who believes Nick Caserio will bring great scouting report of @MiamiDolphins 2014 personnel plans 2 Bill Belichick @patriots

So, that's useful information to know about your rival, no?
It's another sketchy, but legal, move by Belichick and company, who are always willing to to do whatever it takes to gain the upper hand.
According to NESN.com's Doug Kyed, Caserio could get a bump in title and a pay raise for his work.
To make matters even more disastrous for the Dolphins, after Caserio turned down their offer, they then extended the offer to Lake Dawnson, who also turned Miami down. They finally settled on Dennis Hickey who is now the new Miami General Manager.
