The mock drafts continue, and Jace Amaro is consistently being picked to go to New England with the 29th pic. He hasn't seen them, but he has heard the news trickle down from friends and family, but he stated today that New England is an ideal place for him to end up, especially because he is seeing himself catching passes from none other than Tom Brady.

Here is what masslive.com has for Amaro's stats in his junior year: Amaro caught 106 passes for 1,352 yards as a junior, serving as an Aaron Hernandez-like threat with his ability to lineup all over the field.

Those kinds of numbers could provide some key backup at tightened for Rob Gronkowski, and as all Patriots fans learned this year, injuries happen A LOT, and we need to have capable backups to fill in key rolls and step up. With Amaro vein eager to come to New England, he could provide that push that we need to build back our starters, and add some depth to the roster.

When asked what he thinks of catching passes thrown by Brady, Amaro had this to say: "I think that may be one of the greatest quarterbacks to ever play the game – that would be a great start for me, especially in a system like that. I’ve taken notice of teams like that. I think that would be a great, ideal place for me."

What do you think? Can Amaro be a good fit for New England?
