According to multiple reports, the Patriots have been actively meeting with and working out potential prospects. Among them are University of Central Florida prospects Jeff Godfrey, Justin McCray, Jordan McCray, Chris Martin and Storm Johnson, per the Orlando Sentinel.

Per the Sentinel:

The players attended the early portion of the Knights’ morning spring practice before heading to the team facility to meet with coaches from the Patriots. New England head coach Bill Belichick was in Orlando for the NFL Owner’s Meetings about a half hour away from campus.

Also among the players the Patriots have inquired about is Iowa tight end C.J. Fiedorowicz, according to CSNNE.

Per CSNNE:
Fiedorowicz ran a 4.7-second 40-yard dash at the NFL Combine. The Patriots will definitely be in the market for a tight end upgrade in this draft given the passing game limitations of their non-Gronk tight ends and the brittleness of Gronk himself.

The Patriots are also one of 3 teams inquiring about Cornell quarterback Jeff Matthews, according to NFL Draft Diamonds.

Well the Patriots have interest in a small school quarterback, who I feel is the best small school QB in the draft.

Jeff Matthews will have private visits with both the Cardinals and Patriots in the coming days.
