Spikes is ready to defend his trash talk

Pretty much every Patriots fan watched last week as former Patriot Brandon Spikes unleashed hell on Twitter, pretty much calling us every single name in the book. But he can talk the trash, but can he back it up? According to CSNNE.com, he most certainly can...

"It's a free country. That's what Twitter is for. I use it just to interact with my fans. ... People are gonna love you. People are gonna hate you. I just know how to be myself. Everybody got a theme. You gotta respect that, I got a big mouth, I talk a lot of trash. I feel like I can back it up. ... If I can get in a guy's head, I'll take advantage of it."

Spikes has shown up for Bills voluntary workouts this year, and his new team doesn't seem to mind his comments either. Head coach Doug Marrone says that when you live in a democratic society, you have free speech and as long as it is productive for the team, he has no issue with it.

Well Spikes, guess what.... we do. Four years of slave is a pretty dumb comment if you ask me, considering Bob Kraft probably gave you everything under the sun and gave you a shot at a Super Bowl every year. But not to fret, when we come to town and make the Bills our bitch, you can be sure that you will have our full attention, because we want to hear you when you can't back up your talk. Its one thing to move from a crappy team to a great team and then make comments, but its another to basically say "whatever" to your Super Bowl chances, and move yourself to one of the worst teams in the NFL, and one that has practically no shot of winning the Super Bowl.

Remember that the schedule comes out at 8pm...
