Schefter: Patriots looking to trade down in draft

Are you guys looking forward to the NFL draft tonight?

The Patriots are slated to pick at number 29, which should be quite a bit into the night. But, if they had their way, they won't pick there at all.

Teams with some level of interest in trading BACK include OAK, TB, TENN, BALT, MIA, NE (surprise, surprise).

New England has become quite famous for trading back in the draft, despite the fact that coach/GM Bill Belichick has actually traded up more than he's traded down.

Still, perception is reality more often than not, and the Pats are looking to reinforce that perception tonight apparently by moving back and stockpiling more draft picks.
