Training camp continued today, with plenty of news coming out of practice! Unfortunate news first of all, wide receiver Greg Orton - who was just signed a couple days ago - had to be carted off the field.
There were plenty of highights and lowlights though, here's the best from the Patriots media:
Here's the bad news....
Tough pair of practices for Bolden, who has fumbled twice and had a bad drop. Had fumble issues in his rookie training camp.

Garoppolo struggled in 11s today. 3/7 with 2 INTS. Brady 5-9, Mallett 6-8.

Two bad Red Zone INTs for Garoppolo today, and counting

Offensive players have to run a lap for a false start or fumble. Victims so far: Mankins, Garoppolo, Bolden. Bronx cheers from the fans

The good news..
Rob Gronkowski didn't participate in 7-on-7s or 11s, but he's working with Brady individually right now.

Secondary had a strong day on day 2. Several passes defended and had tight coverage all day. #patriots

One highlight was Vereen's leaping TD catch over James Anderson. Throw came from Brady.

Shane Vereen had a great day of practice. He was catching everything.

Thompkins beat Revis for a diving TD at the base line of the end zone.

During 7v7s, Kyle Arrington had a nice break up on Brady. Jamie Collins had one on Mallett. Hooman & Thompkins had a diving TD catches.

Dope catch by Hooman diving in the end zone. #patscamp

The somewhere in between...
Dan Connolly is getting work at center once again, which is where he broke in as a starter a few years ago.
— Jeff Howe (@jeffphowe) July 25, 2014
Brady worked heavily with Edelman, Gronk, KT. Less with LaFell and Amendola, who worked on special teams.

The surprise player...
Based on #Patriots OTAs, minicamp and 2 training camp practices, I'll be shocked if Daxton Swanson doesn't pick off a pass in the preseason.
— Doug Kyed (@DougKyedNESN) July 25, 2014
The Drama...
Arrington and Edelman had a little dust up at one point. Wouldn't call it a fracas though. Fracas is a great word #patriotstalk

CB Kyle Arrington on shoving match with WR Julian Edelman: "We're best friends, two competitive guys. It's like fighting with your sibling."
