The Denver Broncos are mad they lost the Super Bowl to the Seattle Seahawks. And did they ever lose in a huge way, 43-8. When you lose like that and your opponent mentions it, like Pete Carroll did after the Seahawks win saying, “We really felt like we could knock the crud out of these guys.” you just have to take it.

Well, in a column run in The Denver Post on Sunday Mike Klis asked, “Can't anybody tell those mouthy Seahawks in Seattle to shut up?” No Mike they can’t because the Seahawks won it all, and it wasn’t close, so they get to say what they want.

Also on Monday Kevin Vickerson of the Broncos was quoted in The Gazette saying, “F&*K Seattle.” While Vickerson wasn’t able to play in the Super Bowl, he was hurt, his team still barely showed up for the game and well Kevin you just have to take it.

I mean I’ve been to Seattle three times, its a nice place to visit, and while I wouldn’t want to live there, the good people that do deserve a championship team. They were robbed of the Sonics; the Mariners have never won and until last year the Seahawks hadn’t either. Let them talk, let them enjoy, the loudest fans in the NFL the 12th man Seahawks fans, deserved a title.

The Broncos and Seahawks meet twice this year, once in the preseason and once in the regular season, if the Broncos want to send a message do it in the regular season rematch or even better go back to the Super Bowl and win this time. But until then Broncos writers, players and fans, shut up.
