1st round pick Dominique Easley still a week away

Patriots first round pick Dominique Easley isn't in Richmond and is still at least a week away from practicing.
According to Jeff Howe of the Boston Herald:
"The defensive tackle, who is on the non-football injury list, continues to rehab his torn ACL, and the team wants his knee to be at full strength to prevent re-injury before putting him on the field."

The defensive tackle suffered a torn ACL in a Florida Gators practice in September last year and underwent surgery Oct. 25. The prolonged recovery isn't a secret to the Patriots who knew that the rehab would extend into training camp when they drafted him in May. Easley stayed in Foxboro and did not travel with the team to Richmond which is common practice for the team who also left a couple of players to rehab last year during joint practices with the Eagles.

When asking Coach Belichick about Easley the Hoodie didn't shy away from stating his extremely deep opinions:

Via Patriots.com:

Q: Do you have a time table for Dominique?
"When he gets up here we'll work with him, and see where he's at"
Q:How much of a concern is it that he's torn two ACL's in the span of 22 months?
"We feel like he'll be alright"
Q:What are your impressions of Dominique off the field?
"He's a guy that likes football."
Absolutely riveting stuff from Coach Belichick as always!
