Gronk uncertain for Week 1

According to NFL.com, Rob Gronkowski is still uncertain for Week 1, and while he's been cleared to play for a while now, he's not going to be rushed back. And that could mean a limited (or no) impact against the Miami Dolphins.

While he was recovered enough to avoid the PUP list, I can't help but remember last year where it seemed like he would come back early, but he didn't come back until Week 7 against the New York Jets. While I can't see that happening this year, at least to that extent, I wonder if something similar will develop similar where he won't play for the first week or two of the season, just to make sure he doesn't aggravate the injury unnecessarily (not that I'd blame him, mind you).

Most media reports seem to point to him playing in Week 1, but limited. I'll believe it when I see it, but I wouldn't be surprised to see him not playng at all week 1.

But we'll wait in see - only time will tell what the Patriots and Rob Gronkowski decide.
