Rodney Harrison speaks to reporters after the hall of fame ceremony

Rodney Harrison was in attendance today at Gillette Stadium for Ty Law's Patriots Hall of Fame induction ceremony.

As the enforcer in the Patriots secondary for six years, two of those with Law. So, Rodney knows a few things about secondary play. When asked about the newest #24 in New England, Darrelle Revis, Harrison paid him the highest compliment.

"The best cornerback on the planet is right here in New England," said Harrison. "and he will prove it this year."

Those are strong words from the former Patriot turned NBC Analyst.

They are also sure to find their way to Richard Sherman in Seattle, who has always self professed his status as the best cornerback in the league.

If Revis plays the way he's been playing so far in camp, it'll be hard for the world to dispute who is the best. This season Revis goes up against the likes of Mike Wallace, Calvin Johnson, A.J. Green, Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jeffrey to name a few. If he can put them all on "Revis Island" you can bet the league will be saying Darrelle Revis is the best corner once again.
