Brady has never talked about "Tuck Play" with Charles Woodson

Most of us remember the "Tuck Play," when Charles Woodson appeared to force a fumble in the "Snow Bowl" in New England back in 2001, but the play was overturned because of the tuck rule and cost the Oakland Raiders the game and propelled the Pats to the 1st of 3 Super Bowls. Now, the Raiders come to Gillette Stadium on Sunday and Charles Woodson is on his second tour with Oakland. And, according to Tim Whelan, Brady and Woodson haven't really talked about it in the 13 years since.

Woodson and Brady were teammates at Michigan from 1996-97 and played together the year Woodson won the Heisman Trophy. Brady didn't take over as the starter until 1998, but he still had some kind words for his ex-teammate.

Per the Boston Herald
"Yeah, I did. I did," said Brady, who didn't take over as the starter until 1998. "I didn't get a lot of those reps. I wasn't in there much when he was there. They didn't give me chances to throw the ball to him. I was kind of with all the backup guys at that time. When I did, he was probably our best receiver when he was there. Whenever we needed a big play, we put him in, and he always seemed to make it, so that's why he won the Heisman."

Woodson will be looking for some satisfaction against Brady when they square off on Sunday at Gillette Stadium.
