Cameron Wake awarded for demolishing Patriots offensive line
Miami Dolphins' star Cameron Wake had quite the day in Week 1. So much so that its earned him the AFC's first defensive player of the week honors.

Wake had a monster game against a shuffling New England offensive line. ProFootballFocus game him an overall rating of 7.7 - the best 4-3 defensive end in week 1. Wake had two sacks, hit quarterback Tom Brady twice and hurried him three times. He also added two forced fumbles.
His strip sack in the third quarter, absolutely blowing by a helpless Michael Hoomawanui, is perhaps what really changed the game in the second half (Wake at the top of the screen).
Brady was asked today specifically about Wake and managing a new offensive line. As you can see above, Wake is able to time the snap perfectly and the play is dead before it even begins. Brady admitted that changing up the snap count is something the team needs to do better to keep defenders off guard. Of course, working with so many new pieces on that offensive line, this could prove a bit difficult.
