Don Jones makes a splash on special teams

The Patriots didn't seem to mind Don Jones's inflammatory comments he made regarding Michael Sam when they grabbed him off waivers earlier this year, and it seems as though the acquisition has paid off.
So far this year the former Dolphin has been credited with 3 tackles on special teams, and played in all four phases of special teams including the punt team, kickoff coverage, kickoff return and punt return.
An unknown factor in Jones's future in New England is the new drug policy. Should Tyms and Browner's drug suspension be lifted the Patriots will be looking to make room for them and a special teams player like Jones may be on the chopping block. Yesterday Belichik stated that he had no idea how the new drug policy would affect those suspensions stating:
You’d have to talk to the league and other people that are involved with that. The drug policy in the NFL is an extremely confidential and sensitive area. I would say that in most cases, you probably know more about it than I do and certainly more in advance because of the great sources that you have. We don’t have any knowledge, input or really involvement whatsoever in the league’s drug policy.
Jones was absent from practice today due to a hamstring issue.
Do you think Don Jones will still be on the team when Tyms and Browner's suspensions are up? Let us know in the comments section below!
